How much would I have to spend per month on a dog?

Question by Hi: How much would I have to spend per month on a dog?
A husky.. FROM THE SHELTER, of course! I would spend 100 dollars just on toys so I won't have to go searching for dog toys all the time..
Usually the dogs from shelters are spayed/neutered and have the required vaccinations..
..Food?
Can someone explain the idea of pet insurance and getting your pet "licensed" ?
